You don’t have to be perfect, give up all of your favorite foods, or make drastic changes all at once doing so frequently leads to straying from or abandoning your new eating plan. Maintaining a positive relationship with food is also important. Instead of focusing on what to avoid, think about what you can put on your plate that benefits your health, such as substances that inhibit oxidation, which we call antioxidants.

To keep the body healthy and fit, we should drink lemon, saffron water, and herbal tea instead of soft drinks; we should drink plant-based milk, eat raw fruits instead of juices, switch to a lean protein diet, and eat less processed foods. Therefore, we must recognize that, even though junk food appears to be delicious, we must refrain from eating it and instead include healthy foods in our diet in order to live a long and healthy life.
